Made from a mixture (or composite) of waste wood, recycled plastic grocery bags and other types of recycled plastic, Trex fencing is designed to stand the test of time and weather. It never needs to be painted, and won't buckle, warp or splinter. It contains no toxic preservatives, so it can be recycled at the end of its lifetime.
The composite fencing is no more complicated to install than a typical fence. Once holes are dug and posts are set in cement, rails are attached to the posts using special brackets and pickets (upright rails) are inserted. Bottom rails include aluminum inserts for additional stability.
Trex composite fencing is available in four colors: Saddle (medium brown), Winchester Grey, Maderia (reddish brown) and Woodland Brown (dark brown). The fencing comes with a 25-year limited warranty. Initial costs are slightly higher than traditional fencing, but since it doesn't have to be replaced as often, costs can be recouped over time. The fencing is currently available in the western United States and will be available in other areas this summer. For more information or to find a local dealer: http://www.trex.com or 800-289-8739.
